This delicate, pink-skinned grape is famed for producing distinctively aromatic white wines. Some of the best versions comes from Alsace, but Germany & New Zealand are also well known for their examples. Typical Gewürztraminer shows aroma notes of lychee, rose petal, perfumed Turkish Delight & tropical fruit. The palate is typically full bodied with low acidity, full of stone fruit flavours & a touch of spice.
